We collect only what we need to run the race and keep in touch, and we never sell it.
Who we are
Cape Cobra Trail Marathon (Pty) Ltd organises the Cape Cobra Trail Marathon and runs this website. For anything about your personal information, email support@capecobratrail.com.

Photos and video
By entering, you agree that photos and video taken at Cape Cobra events, including recces and the festival, may be used in race reports, social media and marketing. If you'd rather not appear, email support@capecobratrail.com and we'll keep you out of future material.
Who sees it
The race team, and the services above that store it for us. We do not sell or rent your information, and we share it with others only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Only as long as we need it: volunteer, crew and partner details for the race season they relate to, and newsletter details until you unsubscribe. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.
This website
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages help runners most. It sets cookies, stores no names or contact details, and shortens your IP address. The site uses no advertising cookies.
Some pages show content from other services (YouTube videos, the FinishTime results page and our Instagram feed), and those services may set their own cookies under their own policies.
If Ask the Cobra can’t answer a question, we keep the question itself (not who asked it) so we can add the answer to the FAQ. Please don’t type personal details into it.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to us using it. Email support@capecobratrail.com. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Regulator.
